Whether your injury happened at work, at home, or during a recreational activity, therapy is a vital component of your rehabilitation. At Hand Therapy Associates, you will be treated by a team of licensed hand/upper extremity specialists in an environment designed to provide optimal care. The success of our program lies in the team approach: the physician, the therapist, and most important, YOU.

During your initial visit to therapy, a full evaluation will be performed, and a customized program will be devised by your Physical or Occupational Therapist. Special efforts will be made to answer any questions you may have. At HTA, the patient's understanding and involvement in his or her rehabilitation program is of utmost importance, and participation in one's own care is vital. Exercises will be reviewed, both for your program in the clinic, and at home, and will be upgraded as you make gains in therapy.

Re-evaluations will be conducted at frequent intervals, and discussed with you. In addition, your private physician will be notified regularly of your achievements in therapy, and in a cooperative effort, your program will be adjusted to optimize your progress.
